While that was happening our PVP fleet smashed all of the losers hanging around us and we got away scotch free. They even chatted to us in local about how we could "have the gas, we don't want it". Have it? We took it! -> all the pvper's got to share the wealth from the gas -> all the miners got to share the loot from the kills. -> everyone wins! 50/50 active in the US. We can run just about any op except major combats with those numbers. Also, if you have experience running PVE, mining, or actual WH ops there is a big need for operation managers. It takes effort to scan down sigs, get decent bookmarks, get a fleet together, go and kill/farm, salvage and haul then tally it up. This is a very large operation and some days people don't want to play Excel Online. During the holidays #'s were low as everyone was traveling, family, etc. Now January is here and everyone is poor and at home. We are farming back to normal. An easy way to see our number spike would be our killboard: http://kb.whdweller.com/?a=home WH space is possibly the best of all worlds: you can earn big isk farming sleepers and get great PVP opportunities with no big alliances pushing you around, no local chat, and no mandatory ops for POS bashing for SOV. Most members make 500mil/week with minimal effort, that is generally only two ops a week. More if you put in effort and find things to do. If there are ops, people come in hordes. This isn't empire space where you can sign on and run lvl 4's. Real life comes first, who are we, the infamous internet spaceships to tell you how you should run your life. No good pvp lately... kinda sucks. We did have a buzzard pop in right during our PVE engagement and bounce off the structure... that was... stupid. Anyway, recruitment is going strong, added probably 20 people in the last two weeks. Ops are starting to get fuller and therefore: more isk/hour!
